Hello and welcome to Sheila Williams Baby Massage. As a young health visitor over 30 years ago I had a strong interest in supporting parents and was involved in the child development programme offering additional support to first time parents which I loved. Later I ran a a post natal group which included baby massage as one of it's regular sessions. My understanding of positive touch as communications for parents and their babies started to grow...
Over the past 20 years I have worked with children in care. This has been a very powerful experience for me emotionally and has emphasised the huge importance of early parent/ child relationships.
This led to me train with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) and in 2021 I became a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI). I can offer individual or small group massage classes using the IAIM 5 week programme for parents/ main carers with their babies in the first year of life and parents/main carers of children with special needs up to the age of 7 years. I have a particular interest in fostering and adoption.
I live in Cheshire East with my husband Peter; we are fortunate to have 3 adult children and one grandchild. Having recently retired from working in our NHS I enjoy having more time for baby massage.

Relaxed and welcoming small group baby 5-week baby massage classes. If you would like to meet in a small group of parents/main carers and their babies to learn the skills and strokes of baby massage in a friendly relaxed atmosphere this course is for you.
During the sessions Sheila Williams Baby Massage Instructor will demonstrate International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) strokes with her doll and share information whilst have opportunity to learn with your baby. The sessions will include some related poems, readings and songs.
There is opportunity for you to relax, share ideas, chat and eat cake.
Classes are extremely relaxed, and baby led. You can feed, change, walk around and generally see to your babies needs at any point in the course, it is in no way a disruption. Their needs come first.
