I am Anita, a highly experienced children’s Occupational Therapist based in North Surrey. For the past 20 years, I have worked with babies and young children who have had an eventful start in life and who need support to experience and participate in their new world. Inevitably this work led me to train with IAIM as an Infant Massage Instructor.
I have experience with children who have special needs but also hold a great interest in those babies who spend time in the NICU and whose early days have been challenging. These babies benefit from Baby Massage to create a lasting bond with their parents, establishing communication through nurturing touch. The IAIM course is evidence-based and shown to stimulate and support a baby’s physical, emotional and social development.
Every baby and parent can benefit from learning the long-lasting benefits of massage, which may include relief from colic, wind, constipation & teething, increased levels of relaxation and longer sleep alongside the opportunity to meet other local parents with small babies.

I offer classes for up to 5 babies in my own home in Walton on Thames. I can also offer a course for you and your friends at your own venue, within the local area – please contact me to discuss. If you prefer, I will also provide 1:1 courses in your home or mine.
All classes include a bottle of organic massage oil, handouts, plenty of time for learning and practice of strokes as well as refreshments afterwards.
