Class Details

Five week course of baby massage to enhance bonding and communication between you and your baby. In a calm, relaxed, informal environment you will gradually learn to do massage strokes covering your baby's whole body, as you watch a demonstration on a doll. There will also be plenty of time for discussion, sharing tips and experiences over a cup of tea or coffee. The classes are baby-led so you are encouraged to feed on demand, comfort your crying baby or do whatever your baby needs. Baby massage can help to relax your baby, potentially improving sleep and can also bring pain relief from things like teething, constipation, wind and colic. The classes are held in a large, carpeted hall within St Matthew’s Church Centre and parking is on St Matthew's Close and surrounding streets. The cost of the 5 week course includes massage oil, refreshments, a booklet and other handouts. If you book with a friend, you both get five pounds off the price.
